I am a professional working mother, with a Korean-American background, living and working in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.  My family, husband (Jan Wouter) and 2 children (Mi-Ah and I-An), mean everything to me, but I feel like I need something more.  Something just for me.  For a while now, I’ve been grappling with trying to discover my personal ‘passion’ in life.   So I’ve set-up this weblog to help me document various ideas, thoughts, stories.   

So far, I’ve concentrated on 3 things I really enjoy. 

Movies – can’t get enough of them and I definitely love giving my opinion on them! 

Books – I love to read, especially scifi/fantasy.  I have always have a stack of books by my bed (love reading before I go to sleep) of things to read.

And most importantly – Children’s stories.  I’ve been writing a series of Princess Mi-Ah stories inspired by our energetic daughter, Mi-Ah.  I’ve written these stories to try to teach her things I could not find in books in a way I liked.  Or just to entertain as well.  They are all based on a fantasy world I’ve created with the help of Mi-Ah.  It’s been such a fun creative experience for both my daughter and me.  She has even started to come up with new titles and topics on her own.  In fact, most of the recent stories are based on her own ideas.  I just fill in the details.  Hope you enjoy them.
